FAQs
Is every place featured on the website 100% vegan?
No, only places specifically and explicitly identified as being vegan or 100% plant-based in their description are. And even then, double check the place’s website (or just ask the staff), because sometimes spots that were vegan randomly decide to not be totally vegan anymore. Some places listed are also just vegan friendly (i.e., they have some good vegan food options on the menu).
Cafes are chosen based on vibe and laptop-friendliness, not plant-based food options or ‘vegan-ness’. Though they almost certainly will not be listed if they don’t at least have alt milk.
How often is the website updated?
It’s basically updated whenever I visit a cool city and decide to make a page for it. Or if I re-visit a city and find that a place I’ve listed no longer exists.
I went to a place you recommended and it was closed…
Email me at info[@]greeneconomylaw.com and I’ll update the website. Thanks.
What if I want to make a page for a city?
I’m open to ‘guest page’ contributions, provided you’re ok with me editing it. Email me at info[@]greeneconomylaw.com with your proposal.
How can I stay posted about new pages? You’re not on Instagram!
Indeed, I am not. I am, however, on LinkedIn and post new pages there. Or you can subscribe to my firm’s newsletter, and you’ll see new pages posted there as well
I’m visiting Toronto and want to meet a fellow vegan digital nomad. Or, I see from your LinkedIn that you’re in my city right now. Can we have coffee and/or lunch?
Hit me up on LinkedIn and send me an invite there (so I know you’re a real human and can get a sense of your vibe). I’m open to meeting new folks.
